ORIGIN STORY: Since 2012, Ismael Hassan and his family have owned Kayon Mountain Coffee Farm PLC, a distinctive coffee estate in Ethiopia. This estate stands out not only due to its expansive size but also because it independently exports its coffee. Their mission, to deliver top-quality coffee while emphasizing social responsibility and environmental sustainability. The farm actively tackles challenges faced by local communities by improving access to clean water, education, and renewable energy. Additionally, it has implemented a comprehensive environmental program focused on protecting indigenous trees and using compost fertilization.

THE FLAVOURS: Kayon’s coffee consistently reveals notes of blackberry, blueberry, raspberry, and strawberry, supported by a lively citrus foundation and delicate rose-like floral hints. This flavour profile exudes a vibrant, sun-drenched essence, combining a luscious sweetness reminiscent of stone fruits with a smooth, custard-like finish.
