ORIGIN STORY: Lots from the Monkaaba collectivist project have become a staple on our menu for both their progressive community mandate and their incredible coffee. This super fun lot comes from Javier Burbano and his El Meson farm. It is a Tabi lot — a Bourbon, Typica, and Timor hybrid developed by Cenicafé — delivering a truly complex and balanced cup.

THE FLAVOURS: People have been drinking bitter dark roasts for over two centuries, and it seems careless to ignore history. While Shady Lane is certainly not dark, it is a new way of roasting designed for mild acidity. This Tabi lot delivers juicy grape and sweet red cherry notes over a lush chocolate and caramel base.
