ORIGIN STORY:
For nearly ten years, Primitiva Apaza Quea has cultivated bourbon coffee on her farm in Paltaypampa, whose name means ‘mountain where the avocados grow,’ indicative of the farm’s fertile and thriving environment. Prior to collaborating with Red Fox five years ago, the difficult terrain posed significant challenges for export, but now she enjoys complete access to the specialty market, allowing us the pleasure of roasting her coffee!

THE FLAVOURS:
The selections from the Sandia Valley consistently brighten our late Winter menu, and this batch from doña Primitiva is no exception, showcasing delightful sticky cherry notes complemented by a candied red berry essence. The aftertaste is rich, featuring prominent flavours of nut butter and brown sugar.
