Magnolia is the bright, floral espresso in the Phoenix lineup — sweet, lifted, and full of aromatic sparkle. This edition comes from Testi Specialty Coffee’s Refisa Station in Nansebo, West Arsi, Ethiopia, where smallholder farmers contribute local landrace coffees grown at high elevation.
Testi Specialty Coffee works with nearly 850 smallholder farmers in Refisa, including the communities of Roricho, Bulga, Frefisa, and Solena. Founded in 2009 by Faysel Abdosh, Testi’s work connects farm-level community support with careful post-harvest processing, helping build coffees that are expressive, clean, and full of character.
In the cup, Magnolia opens with jasmine and honeysuckle-like florals before moving into lemonade brightness and a jammy strawberry tart finish. It is lively, juicy, and elegant: an espresso built for sweetness, clarity, and bloom.

PROCESSING METHOD
Fully Washed
In a fully washed process, the coffee cherry is depulped so the outer fruit is removed before fermentation and washing. This reduces the influence of extended fruit contact and allows the coffee’s cultivar character, growing conditions, and processing clarity to come forward more directly.
For Magnolia, the washed process supports a cup that feels sweet, floral, lively, and precise. The structure stays clean while the cup carries lifted aromatics, citrus brightness, and delicate fruit sweetness.
In the cup, this means jasmine, lemonade, strawberry tart, honeysuckle, lemon, and a jammy berry finish — bright, floral, and full of sparkle.
