- BEANOGRAPHY -
ORIGIN STORY: Frank started his coffee career by working for Starbucks' specialty coffee program before becoming a green buyer for several importers. He uses a ‘reposado’ method, which is a 24-hour, temperature-controlled fermentation for ripe cherries. This pink bourbon lot then dries with its sticky mucilage layer intact, which combines with his special processing for a wildly tropical cup.
THE FLAVOURS: While we love all of the coffee we bring in, Frank is one of our absolute favourites. This lot brings that perfect balance between bright fruit notes and comforting caramels. This year’s crop is full of papaya, pineapple, lime, and pomelo against beautiful candied sugar and toffee.
